I'm a North Georgia Personal Branding Photographer based in Cumming, GA who loves to document stories and capture all the tiniest of details.

I love photographing in a raw and honest way, sharing the story behind each images so others can truly feel something when they see it.

A timeline to tell my story

2012

Where it all started

The year it all began! I started Tanya Jacobs Photography out of a deep longing for more creativity in my life. Back then, I was juggling the role of a newspaper editor, which I adored for its community impact, but I was craving a more artistic outlet.

2015

Went full time just before becoming a mama

After tying the knot in 2012, I dove headfirst into wedding photography. By 2015, right before welcoming my daughter into the world, I took the leap to pursue it full-time!

2015 - 2019

The Busy Years

Oh, the busy years! I photographed over 100 weddings during this period, and countless family sessions while juggling motherhood. I loved every minute of it! Towards the end of 2017, I also took on a part-time position as head of marketing for a large UK company. I'm proud to say I still work with them today!

2020 - 2023

Wrapping up Weddings

In 2019, I wrapped up all my weddings and decided to take a break. While focusing on my marketing role and flying to the UK for branded shoots, I also spent time helping other photographers and small businesses grow their ventures with digital marketing and mentoring.

2024

Relaunched Tanya Jacobs Photography

Jump forward to 2024 and I found myself once again seeking a creative outlet.

I dusted off my camera... Not really, I upgraded the whole lot and switched to mirrorless, and relaunched my photography business! This time, focusing on helping other business owners with their branding!
