I’m a North Atlanta Family Photographer who also specializes in branding and headshot photography for small businesses. I’m based in Forsyth County, GA and serve Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Johns Creek, Cumming, Dawsonville and Gainesville.
The year it all began! I started Tanya Jacobs Photography out of a deep longing for more creativity in my life. Back then, I was juggling the role of a newspaper editor, which I adored for its community impact, but I was craving a more artistic outlet.
After tying the knot in 2012, I dove headfirst into wedding and family photography. By 2015, right before welcoming my daughter into the world, I took the leap to pursue it full-time!
Oh, the busy years! I photographed over 100 weddings during this period, and countless family sessions while juggling motherhood. I loved every minute of it! Towards the end of 2017, I also took on a part-time position as head of marketing for a large UK company. I'm proud to say I still work with them today!
Jump forward to 2024 and I found myself once again drawn to storytelling.
I dusted off my camera... Not really, I upgraded the whole lot and switched to mirrorless, and relaunched my photography business! This time, focusing on helping other business owners with their branding and photographing family moments that I know mamas will want to cherish forever!
